Letter from Muntasir Lashkar to ‘Amid Lashkar
The envelope has Muntasir Lashkar's seal and is addressed to Mirza Muhammad Khan at Muntasir Lashkar's house in Tabriz. The letter is addressed to Mu‘tamid al-Sultan ‘Amid Lashkar. Muntasir Lashkar expresses his concern about ‘Amid Lashkar's illness, discusses promissory notes, and sends greetings to his mother and sisters; on the margin he addresses his mother, saying that he is astonished about her remarks on running out of allowance money and directing her to borrow from Sayyid Riza; he also emphasizes that he would be disappointed if they leave the house.

‘Izz al-Saltanah's petition, 1901
Petition by ‘Izz al-Saltanah to the Ministry of Finance, referring to a note issued by Sardar Afkham when he was the governor of Rasht, which included payments of two thousand and seven hundred tumans to ‘Izz al-Saltanah, ‘Aziz al-Saltanah, and Fatimah Sultan Khanum and Mahbub al-Saltanah (two of Nasir al-Din Shah's wives); she describes the inconvenience they had endured after the execution of Sardar Afkham, receiving another bill from Mirza Fath Allah Khan, which they could not convert to cash, and the eventual loss of the note; ‘Izz al-Saltanah is asking for the note to be reissued.
